Ironbridge Junior Rowing Squad offers both Male and Female athletes the chance to enjoy the sport of rowing from all backgrounds. Aged from 11 -18 years of age we currently operate a three squad system.

• Performance Squad - Our performance squad races all over the United Kingdom with the view to representing the club and the West Midlands Region at local and national junior regattas and events.

• Development Squad - Our development squad is aimed at new rowers who have the outlook of racing at local regattas and events.

• Recreational Squad - Our recreational squad is aimed at rowers who want to enjoy the sport but don't wish to race

​

Our junior members come from all over the West Midlands and Shropshire and are supported by our own Junior Rowing Coaching team; who in 2024 were awarded The High Sheriff of Shropshire Award for Contributions to Community Life.
